Thank you for visiting the VL Drums Historical Registry and the Biography of Víctor E. López Valentín.

This project was created to preserve and document the legacy of Víctor E. López Valentín ("Chino"), a master artisan and builder of traditional Puerto Rican bomba drums. Our mission is to identify, document, and share the history of every instrument crafted by his hands.

We welcome any contributions, including:

• The drum's registry number (VL #), if available
• The owner's name (optional)
• City, state, or country where the drum is currently located
• Approximate date of acquisition
• Photos or videos of performances, workshops, or cultural events featuring the drum
